I’m a documentary photographer focused on current social issues around the world. I combine my work with the carry out of long-term projects and participative photo workshops where people learn how to use images to create social change. I work photography from the emotion because I consider it the only way to show the humanity in my stories, a way to generate a kind of empathy to the people who are looking at my images. Maybe one photo will never be the solution for a social problem but I´m sure of its capacity to make people aware of it and shaking conscience. As a documentary photographer I consider it vital for my work and I can say that´s the reason why I am a photographer.
