Kamankola is a Cuban artist who since 2014 is filling Havana with songs.

His music does not belong to any industry or institution, his two albums (Before they forbid it and To specify the air) have been manufactured independently (word that defines the themes and the spirit with which he sings) crowded in Verkami.

The support of his followers and friends allowed him to make Before they forbid it of the first Cuban album financed with crowdfunding. Mixing the rap with the song, his music is a fusion of national and foreign genres that go from rumba to jazz and from rock and roll to guaguancó.

Kamankola gives words made music that have deep impact in the people who listen to him and now comes with 12 songs to say, that with your contribution, you can make them our third album, Wind.

Who are we

Kamankola, Cuban artist. He mixes rap with the song, his music is a fusion of both national and foreign genres that go through rumba, jazz, rock and roll, guaguancó, among others. In his presentations he can be seen accompanied by musicians or only with his guitar.

He has played on multiple stages in Cuba and abroad. He has shared the stage with countless national and international artists.

RobertikoRamos, visual artist. He designed the first CD of Kamankola "Before they forbid it" and promoted the crowdfunding campaign for its financing, making of that album the first one published in Cuba in this way. Promoter and cultural manager, is responsible for "AMuleta Música", a space for the diffusion and presentation of alternative music powered by LA MARCA.

Mary Lou, playwright, curator, producer. She works as manager of Jorgito Kamankola. Produces the Isla Teatro group, Guan Caña Films and the Production House Carpe Diem. Hypermedia promoter Michelle Fragoso. Curator of Fanguito Studio. She organized the Art Hack Data 2017 international event with MUD Foundation and worked as a New York Times Fixer and BBC in Havana with Atabi Studio.
